Throughout the US, 37 million American have to make hard choices between food, health care, heat, and rent. To help alleviate the pain of poverty, St. Robert co-sponsors St. Martin de Porres Parish’s Food Pantry, which serves on average 36 families each week. At this time the Pantry is unable to accept food for babies and toddlers.
With an increase in clients, there is an increase in volunteers. Pantry volunteers are needed on Mondays, 3:00-4:30pm, and Thursdays, 5:00-6:30pm. A possible third day of the week may be added to the schedule if volunteers come forward.
