We believe that no one should grieve alone. Bereavement Ministry provides support to those who grieve the loss of a friend or family member. To this end, Bereavement Ministers are involved in peer to peer ministry and help organize memorial events (such as the All Souls' Mass and the Memorial Christmas Tree). Members of the Bereavement Ministry receive training and support. For more information about this ministry, please contact Mary Lynne Collins at 332-1845.
All are invited to bring an ornament in honor of a deceased family member or friend and place it in the basket in the gathering space. Then, join others in decorating the tree after the 11:00 am Mass on Sunday, December 21st.
The members of the Prayer Network lift up intercessory prayers daily for those who have phoned in serious prayer needs. Members receive the requests once a week unless the need is more time sensitive. Prayer Network members may be compared to the four men who carried the paralytic to Jesus (Mark 2:1-12). We pray anonymously for others' petitions. One mass per month is prayed for the needs addressed by this Prayer Network. Click here to submit a prayer request.
If you know of someone who is homebound or in a hospital or nursing home and would like to be anointed or have Communion brought to them, please contact the Parish Office at 414-332-1164.
