     hours.
  •  You can help Shoreline financially if you shop at Pick 'n Save!  Register your Advantage Card number as 714600.
  •  Able-bodied helpers are needed during the winter to be “snow angels” to shovel for neighborhood seniors.

Ongoing Ministries
--
Mass (or a Liturgy of the Word and Distribution of Communion) is celebrated at River Park Court in Shorewood on the second and fourth Fridays of each month at 10:30 am.

--Communion Calls and Hospital Visits.  If you know someone who is homebound or in a hospital or rehabilitation center and would like Communion or the Anointing of the Sick, please contact the Parish Office, 332-1164.

Telephone Reassurance Program

Do you know a frail or elderly citizen who lives alone and could benefit from a daily morning telephone call to help them stay connected to the community while they remain living on their own?  This free program is offered by Interfaith Older Adult Programs’ Telephone Reassurance volunteers who make daily calls to people over the age of 60 to ask how they are doing and remind them to eat and take their medications if necessary.  The person getting the call must have three contacts that can be called daily if we cannot reach them. Please call Lynn Friedman at 414-220-8651 to make a referral or for more information.

Wheelchair Recycling Program (WRP)

WRP is a non-profit organization that collects used wheelchairs and other medical equipment, refurbishes the equipment to like-new condition, and then makes the equipment available at low cost to people in need. For information on donating or finding equipment, please contact WRP at 414-313-1303 or 2711 W. Wells St. in Milwaukee between 10:00am and 4:30pm or by appointment. Visit Wheelchair Recycling Program.

Respite for Caregivers
Anyone who is taking care of a loved one knows what it means to get a welcome break--no matter how dedicated they are. Respite serves the caregiver as much as the person receiving the care. Sponsored by the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi, St. Ann Center offers 24-hour overnight respite care (1-20 days) to frail elderly and adults with disabilities. Caregivers have an opportunity to take a few days off, a needed vacation or maybe a hospital stay of their own that can be worry free. Our overnight respite bedrooms have a warm, "bed and breakfast" appeal. St. Ann’s address is 2801 E. Morgan Ave. in Milwaukee. For more information about this and St. Ann Center’s adult day care service, contact Ron Zeilinger at 414-977-5064 or Ron.
