St. Robert alumnae Lauren Hammer and Claire Aasen are two of Divine Savior/Holy Angels high school’s 12 National Merit Finalists for 2010! Lauren and Claire were among the over 1.5 million students from 22,000 high schools who were entered in the competition. They now become eligible for over $36 million in scholarship awards. Congratulations to these two outstanding scholars and their families!
In conjunction with Catholic School’s Week, current DSHA students and St. Robert’s graduates, Emma Strode ('08), Alyssa Blavat ('06) and Lauren Hammer ('06) joined over 60 of their classmates in donating their hair to the non-profit organization Locks of Love. This is the 10th year that the Locks of Love assembly has taken place at DSHA high school. Over the duration of the decade, DSHA students have contributed over $350,000 in donated hair to children with medical hair loss.

... Elli Sellinger (’06) has been named to the 2009 USA Swimming Scholastic All America team. She is a senior at Shorewood High School.
...St. Robert graduate Emma Strode ('08) was in the cast of DSHA's fall production of “All Shook Up.” The musical comedy is based on Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” and tells the story of what happens when a guitar-playing rebel rides into a small Midwestern town, bringing in rock ‘n’ roll by way of Elvis classics!

"Myths and Hymns, a Song Cycle" Staged by Adam Guettel, and "Metamorphoses," a full-length one-act play based on the writings of Ovid by Mary Zimmerman, was performed in repertory in October; six St. Robert alums were part of the cast and crew – Jeremy ('09) and Nate Bredeson ('06), Zoe Collins ('09), Michael Linn ('08), Erin Brauer ('07) and Ann Hagner ('07).
