St. Robert Alumna DSHA Valedictorian
Congratulations to St. Robert School graduate, Lauren Hammer, who is the 2010 Valedictorian at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School AND to Nathan Bredeson, who is the 2010 Salutatorian at Dominican High School.

St. Robert Grads Earn National Merit Finalist Honors
St. Robert alumnae Lauren Hammer and Claire Aasen are two of Divine Savior/Holy Angels high school’s 12 National Merit Finalists for 2010!  Lauren and Claire were among the over 1.5 million students from 22,000 high schools who were entered in the competition.  They now become eligible for over $36 million in scholarship awards. 

SRS Alums to Donate Their Hair for Locks of Love
In conjunction with Catholic School’s Week, current DSHA students and St. Robert’s graduates, Emma Strode ('08),  Alyssa Blavat ('06) and Lauren Hammer ('06) joined over 60 of their classmates in donating their hair to the non-profit organization Locks of Love. This is the 10th year that the Locks of Love assembly has taken place at DSHA high school. Over the duration of the decade, DSHA students have contributed over $350,000 in donated hair to children with medical hair loss.

...Ellie Sellinger (SRS Class of 2006) was named one of this year's most outstanding high school athletes in swimming. She was recognized on the Preps Plus television show and in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for her commitment to team sports, academics and for making a difference in her school and the community. Ellie is a senior at Shorewood High School.
...Lauren Hammer (SRS Class of 2006) was one of 120 All-State Scholars of Wisconsin.  She was selected based on her overall grade point average and ACT or SAT college admission test scores.  Lauren is a senior at Divine Saviour Holy Angels High School.
...Maria Linn (SRS Class of 2006) was named a WIAA Scholar Athlete for her outstanding achievements in the classroom and on the basketball court.  Maria is a senior at Pius XI High School.
...March/April Dominincan High School Renaissance Award winners: Charles Jurgens, SRS 2007, in Religious Studies, Michael Linn, SRS 2008, in Performing Arts, and Patrick Linn, SRS 2006 in Business/Computers.
...Maria Linn '06 who played on Pius High School's Division I state championship basketball team. Her photo was frequently published in the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel during the Pope's championship run.
...Maggie Aasen '07 competed at the regional Capital Science & Engineering Fair held Feb. 27, 2010 in Madison, Wis.  Aasen’s project titled The Effects of Dye Labeling on Cellular Function earned recognition from the Society for In Vitro Biology for a project exhibiting in vitro biology.
...Lauren Hammer '06 is the recipient of the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation Excellence Scholarship.  Lauren is one of 100 students selected from across the state for this accolade.  Scholarships are awarded annually to 100 graduating seniors that have demonstrated academic potential, outstanding leadership, citizenship, community service, integrity and other special talents.  She will be honored at a regional banquet held at Noon on Sunday, March 21st.
...Elli Sellinger '06 has been named to the 2009 USA Swimming Scholastic All America team.  She is a senior at Shorewood High School.
...St. Robert graduate Emma Strode '08 was in the cast of DSHA's fall production of “All Shook Up.”  The musical comedy is based on Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” and tells the story of what happens when a guitar-playing rebel rides into a small Midwestern town, bringing in rock ‘n’ roll by way of Elvis classics! 
... to our St. Robert Alums in Dominican’s Unique Stage Productions:
"Myths and Hymns, a Song Cycle" Staged by Adam Guettel, and "Metamorphoses," a full-length one-act play based on the writings of Ovid by Mary Zimmerman, was performed in repertory in October; six St. Robert alums were part of the cast and crew – Jeremy ('09) and Nate Bredeson ('06), Zoe Collins ('09), Michael Linn ('08), Erin Brauer ('07) and Ann Hagner ('07). 
...to Mary Linn, Class of 2005, who was the Salutatorian of the Class of 2009 at Dominican High School.
