Our kindergarten program offers both half and full day options for K4 and K5.

The St. Robert academic experience is enhanced by teaching specialists in the areas of Technology, Academic Support, Foreign Language, Art, Music, Band, String Ensemble and Physical Education.

Tuition and Financial Assistance
Tuition for the 2007-08 school year is $2,770 for each parish child and $3,925 for each nonparishioner. While payment plans are available to make a St. Robert School education affordable, only parish families qualify for financial assistance. PSAS Application

1. Do students wear uniforms?
Kindergarten students do not wear uniforms. All other students are required to wear blue and white as described in the dress code of the parent handbook.

2. How do I get involved at St. Robert School?
The Home & School Association has volunteer opportunities that can fit into anyone's schedule - jobs that are large or small, take a few hours or many hours, take place days, evenings or weekends, so that parents can select their own level of involvement. We believe that everyone - kids, parents, and the school benefits when parents are involved. Parents are asked to volunteer for 2 activities during the year. You are encouraged to become more involved by joining a committee or more activities. Sign up forms are distributed in May.

3. What is the Host Family Program?
The Host Family Program is a way for us to welcome you to the St. Robert community and help you get to know other parents. Each new family is paired with a current family with children in the same grade. Your host family should contact you to answer your questions and invite you to the first few school functions.

4. Where do I drop my child off in the morning? Pick up in the afternoon?
Each grade as a specific drop-off location and door to use for entering the school in the morning.
K4 and K5 student will use the Maryland Avenue middle door.
Grades 1 and 2 will use the middle door on the east side of the school (MPR entrance).
Grades 3, 4, & 5 will use the far northeast door off the parking lot.
Grades 6, 7, & 8 will use the far southeast door (Main entrance).
Students should arrive no more than 10 minutes before the bell rings at 8:00 am.

Afternoon pickup is either by a drive through on the parking lot or you may park along the street and walk to the school door to meet your child.

5. How is school news sent home?
Every Thursday a "Home Folder" is sent home with the youngest or only child in the family. This folder contains a weekly newsletter, Family Matters, and other important notices about school activities. This folder is the main vehicle of communication between parents and the school. Please be sure to read it carefully each week.

6. How does the Hot Lunch program work?
Each day your child takes hot lunch or milk it is scanned into a computer and the cost is deducted from your hot lunch account. Once a month a statement is sent home in the home folder. A lunch menu is sent home in the home folder once per month.
