CONTRIBUTE TO OUR ADVENT GIVING TREE

This Advent season, St. Robert is supporting several ministries (please see the graphic on this page). Drop off new, unwrapped gifts to the Christmas Tree at Church by December 11th. After the 11:00 a.m. Mass on the 11th, help will be needed to take the gifts to the Parish Office. Please contact the Parish Office if you can help. Thank you for your generosity.

ORDER MEMORIAL CHRISTMAS POINSETTIAS

As part of the St. Robert Parish Christmas season, you are invited to order Christmas Poinsettias in memory of loved ones. The flowers will decorate the Sanctuary and Nave of the Church. The names of all who are memorialized will appear in the December 24/25 bulletin. Orders are due on or before Monday, December 12, 2022. Orders will not be taken by phone, but you can print this form, complete it, drop it in a weekend collection basket, or mail it to the Parish Office, or drop it off. Questions? Please phone Debe Dannecker at 332-1164

SAVE THE DATE – ST. NICK’S PARTY, DECEMBER 3

Our 14th annual St. Nick’s Party will be in the School gym, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Fun for all ages, with live music, food, drink and crafts. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Cory Wycklendt, (414) 333-7997 or cwycklendt@gmail.com.

CONSIDER A DONATION TO THE ST. ROBERT TEACHER CHRISTMAS FUND

A Catholic education vocation often comes as a financial sacrifice for those who accept the call. This year, please consider St. Robert teachers, staff, and administrators in your giving. The St. Robert Home & School Association has again organized a fund to take the guesswork and hassle out of giving gifts to teachers. Contributions are tax deductible. ($30 per child is recommended.) Checks payable to the “St. Robert Home & School Association” can be dropped off at the School office, or on-line donations can be made here. Thanks in advance for your giving spirit!

SAVE THE DATE – EMERALD AUCTION, MARCH 11, 2023

As we start Emerald Auction preparations, now is a great time to sign up to volunteer. The Emerald Auction is our largest School fundraiser, and to ensure a successful event we need everyone’s help. Please check our Newsletter for details on how to sign up to volunteer!

HIGH SCHOOL 2023 SUMMER TRIP
JULY 9-16, 2023
SIGN UP BY DECEMBER 31, 2022

Join our High School 2023 Summer Trip to attend LifeTeen Camp in Northern Georgia! Open to all current High School students of the 22-23 school year.

Price per student is TBD (upon potential scholarships) but we will be fundraising throughout the Winter/Spring.

This week will be a chance for high schoolers to engage their faith in a community setting.
LifeTeen says it best: “The friendships forged through course challenges, small group time and prayer experiences offer a unique and unforgettable community that will last for years to come. At their summer camp “home,” everyone has a seat at the table; it’s a family meal where souls are also fed. A week at camp reminds every young soul that family means you never walk alone.” Click here to register.

UPCOMING & ONGOING

THE PRAYER & WORSHIP COMMISSION NEEDS YOUR HELP

The St. Robert Prayer & Worship commission is looking for new members, and for parishioners willing to help out from time to time. If you would like to envision and plan communal prayer opportunities for the Parish, desire to plan and receive ongoing formation for the Mass, and can attend a monthly meeting, consider joining the Commission as a member. If you’d like to contribute time or materials on an occasional basis, to make a prayer event or special Mass possible, then consider joining an email distribution list to learn of opportunities. For more information, contact Caroline Klinker, carolinesklinker@gmail.com, to get involved.

JOIN THE ST. ROBERT PASTORAL COUNCIL

Our Pastoral Council is in need of 3-4 new members who are interested in supporting our Pastor, Fr. Enrique, as he leads our parish. The council meets once a month on the first Thursday.

If you are interested in hearing more, please contact Council Chair, Cory Wycklendt at cwycklendt@gmail.com

MASSES ON YOUTUBE

We are recording and posting the Liturgy of the Word, for those who were unable to attend in person, but who would like to keep up with announcements, the Homily, etc. If you are in need of a complete online Mass, the Archdiocese offers online and radio Masses via this link.
