“Jesus and the Eucharist’ Study Coming to St. Robert this month!

St. Robert Parish is participating in the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ (USCCB) call to have a movement of “Eucharistic Revival” across the nation. We are joining countless bishops, dioceses, parishes, and apostolates to be healed, converted, formed, and unified by an encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist — and sent out in mission “for the life of the world.” The mission of the Revival is “to renew the Church by enkindling a living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.” While more plans for the Revival at St. Robert will be shared soon, please SAVE THE DATE and JOIN US for:

“Jesus and the Eucharist”

A 7-session study created specifically for the Year of Parish Revival

Mondays, September 25 – November 6, 2023

6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

St. Robert Parish – Reilly Hall

This series will immerse participants in the kerygmatic proclamation (Sessions 1 – 4) and unveil God’s saving work in the Eucharist (Sessions 5 – 7). Each session opens with an exhortation from a different bishop, followed by lectio divina prayer with scripture. The main lesson is drawn from content created by the Augustine Institute and will include personal testimonies from Catholics across the country. Afterwards we will break out for guided small group discussions.

Topics will include:

9/25: What’s Our Story?

10/2: Who Is Jesus?

10/9: Am I Saved?

10/16: Why a Church?

10/23: God is with Us

10/30: The Story of the Eucharist

11/6: Lectio Prayer, Bread for the Journey

Help wanted! We will need several parishioners to act as table facilitators for the small group discussion on these evenings. A simple video overview of the role is available. We may also need volunteers for greeters, set up, and hospitality. Please contact Elizabeth for more information or sign-up to help on the registration form.
