UPCOMING & ONGOING
ST. ROBERT 2021 MISSION TRIP
We are now welcoming 7th graders from the 20-21 school year to join us on the Mission Trip! Sign-up today! This year, on our 7th-12th grade mission trip, we will be serving the Northern Wisconsin community of Shawano, Wisconsin. Our service for the rural community will be yard work, home improvement projects, and assisting with the local food pantries and homeless shelter. We will be staying at Camp Tekakwitha (Shawano, WI) and have access to cabins, main lodge, and chapel. The Mission Trip is open to all students entering high school through high school graduates of 2021. We have 30 total spots available. You can click here to register!
St. Robert is teaming up with area parishes to increase Adoration hours. Come stop by and adore Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament at the Frassati Chapel, 3001 N. Downer Ave, anytime from 5am-9pm on Tuesdays. Help us expand hours by signing up at frassati.weadorehim.com to spend one hour a week with Our Lord. Please contact Redmond Tuttle at email@example.com or 262-225-3693 with any questions.
HOMILIES NOW LINKED ON THE WEBSITE
We are shifting from recording full Masses, to recording the Homilies. In addition to posting the video clips on our Facebook and YouTube pages, we’ll be posting a link on this website. This weekend’s homily by Fr. Jim Connell is below. (There will be a 4-week gap in postings, which will most likely resume on July 31/August1, as our video volunteer takes a summer break.)
NEW COVID PROTOCOLS BEGAN PENTECOST WEEKEND
Following the CDC guidelines, as well as and local city ordinances and Milwaukee Archdiocese recommendations, we at Holy Family and Saint Robert are loosening the Covid restrictions. Trusting in the Holy Spirit, as we did a year ago, these are the following ways we are moving forward:
- Starting this weekend of Pentecost, we will ask people to process to receive Holy Communion.
- Face coverings will not be required. However, Per the Archdiocese, anyone who is a Eucharistic Minister, must still wear a Face covering when distributing Communion. Please follow the CDC guidelines for fully vaccinated and non-vaccinated persons.
- We won’t ask parishioners to leave the kneelers down or sanitize the pews after Mass. However, the sprays will be available for your use, if you chose, to clean before/after Mass.
- If you have any of the Covid-19 symptoms, please stay home!
