Young Adult Ministry

Young Adult Ministry

St. Robert Parish has an active and growing Young Adult Ministry serving men and women in their 20s and 30s.  Our ministry seeks to deepen the faith lives of young adults and harness their beautiful, God-given talents to bless the Church with their unique contributions to parish life.

Some may hesitate to join a parish due to the transitory nature of young adulthood, but we encourage all young adults to formally register – and to get involved! Don’t wait. Your life in Christ will be enriched when you embed yourself in a parish!

“The parish is where the Church lives. Parishes are communities of faith, of action, and of hope. They are where the Gospel is proclaimed and celebrated, where believers are formed and sent to renew the earth. Parishes are the home of the Christian community; they are the heart of our Church. Parishes are the place where God’s people meet Jesus in word and sacrament and come in touch with the source of the Church’s life.”

Join Us For Brunch – February 5

St. Robert Young Adult Ministry is heading out to brunch! Young adults are invited to join fellow St. Robert 20- and 30-somethings after 8:30am Mass on Sunday, February 5, for a casual brunch at Hubbard Park Lodge’s all-you-can-eat buffet. We need to make a reservation and space may be limited, so RSVP early via this link. Email alice.wycklendt@gmail.com with any questions.

Cor Jesu

Cor Jesu is a weekly intimate encounter with Christ. Through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Eucharistic Adoration and Mass, we are given the opportunity to be drawn deeper into the Heart of Jesus. It is a great space for young adults to meet peers who also desire to encounter Christ and seek fellowship. Cor Jesu provides a mid-week recharge in the midst of our chaotic lives. Click here for more information and weekly homilies.

Brew City Catholic

The Brew City Catholic Missionary Project calls, forms and sends missionaries to college campuses in the Milwaukee Archdiocese. These missionaries are recent college graduates who have a sincere desire to impact college students by proclaiming the Gospel to their peers. The missionaries live on St. Robert’s campus in the Mother Theresa House and bring life to the Parish by inviting young adults to our Parish. More information is available here.

Panther Catholic

Panther Catholic is our local University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Catholic group located at the Newman Center. St. Robert is fortunate to have connections to Panther Catholic through housing missionaries that serve the campus and through our many young adult parishioners who attend UWM! Check out and support the good works happening down the street at their website here!

Panther Catholic could currently use some volunteer help, from people of all ages. For more information, check out http://www.panthercatholic.com/help.
