Confirmation for Adults
“It is evident from its celebration that the effect of the sacrament of Confirmation is the full outpouring of the Holy Spirit as once granted to the Apostles on the day of Pentecost.” Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1302
Confirmation for Adults
If you are an adult who has been baptized and raised in the Catholic Church but has not yet been Confirmed, you are invited to join us to prepare to receive the Sacrament. Once each year, St. Robert hosts an approximately ten-session preparation program, leading to celebration of the Sacrament on Pentecost (usually in May or June). Please contact Donna Shriner, (414) 332-1164 ext. 3045, or dshriner@strobert.org, to learn more.
If you have never been baptized, were baptized in another Christian church and now wish to come into full communion with the Catholic Church, or were baptized in the Catholic Church but were not raised in the faith and are seeking to receive the Sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation, please see our “Becoming Catholic” page.
