2019-2020 CHILDREN’S RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Children’s Liturgy of the Word
St. Robert provides Children’s Liturgy of the World to children in grades 5K – 2nd. At the 8:30am Family Mass, children are led from the main church (after the Opening Prayer) to the church meeting room. There, they hear the Word of God in terms appropriate to their age. They return to church during the Presentation of the Gifts. For more information, please contact Caitlin Raether at (414) 332-1164 ext. 3014, or email@example.com.

Several evenings per year, free social opportunities are offered and are open to ALL 7th and 8th graders at St. Robert and Holy Family Parishes and their friends from other schools. It is a Catholic middle school youth experience created to meet the educational, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of 7th and 8th graders. As part of our middle school offerings, and in addition to fun social gatherings, a NET Mini-Retreat will be offered on Friday evening, January 24, 2020 from 4:30pm-8:30pm at Holy Family. Kids from all four North Shore schools and parishes, including St. Monica and St. Eugene, are invited and welcome to participate. You are encouraged to get your kids involved in this fun, laid-back group that mixes social and spiritual fun. Questions? At St. Robert, the preparation for First Eucharist is done in an all-parish program involving families whose children attend parochial school and those whose children attend public school. It is a family-centered program in which parents play a very important role in their child’s formation. The program includes large group preparation sessions, home study materials and a liturgical celebration (“First Communion”) in early May. For details, contact the Director of Religious Education.
